Welcome to the Scotia Border Collies web site.  We are located on the South shore of Nova Scotia where we have a small sheep farm.  Our sheep are a little unique as they spend the winters on an Island eating kelp & living the good life. In the spring we bring the island sheep  ashore for lambing, where the lambs are raised & weaned.  The ewes return back to the Island for the winter in October.  We could not manage our sheep without the help of our Border Collies!  Our dogs & sheep are multi taskers. My husband works in the film industry as a Marine Coordinator, and also as a key Animal Wrangler.  The sheep and dogs are also called upon for film work.  Many times off camera holding animals for the camera, but also on camera as can be seen in many of the movies we have worked on. Some examples would be: Amelia, Scarlett Letter, Finding John Christmas,Outlander, Elizabeth Smart, The Healer etc.  We are commited to breeding a healthy pup, whether you are looking for a pup for

Herding, Agility, Flyball or a Faithfull companion.  Our pups come with a health guarantee they are well socialized and come from excellent working lines.
